ROOFLINE
The problem with most conventional wooden roofing products, finishing trims and cladding is their inability to effectively withstand our climate and resist attack from wood-boring insects. When Heavers is asked to replace a property’s Fascia’s, soffits and guttering, we will always remove the existing timber work and replace with new plywood backing boards before fixing the finished PVC-U fascia boards. Many companies might simply clad over these surfaces, but this often only exaggerates the problem.
FASCIAS - OUR PROCESS
We fit a solid PVC-U eaves filler, which is tucked beneath the existing felt, over the new fascia board and into the gutter. 12mm ply is screwed into position, straightening and aligning the feet of the rafters for fixing the final fascia board. The soffit is positioned and secured firmly.
The fascia board is aligned and attached using stainless steel Polytop fixings in a way that prevents any strain on the fixings when the gutters become full of water. Any removed tiles are replaced, corner joints are fitted, and the new guttering is carefully attached and levelled so rainwater can run away swiftly.

GUTTERING
Heavers offer all the Marley guttering range, available in 4 colours as standard or alternatively we can have the product sprayed in any RAL colour. The demand for colour matching guttering to the main property or windows has increased in popularity in recent years, it is the perfect solution for those updating and modernising their homes.
CLADDING
Cedral weatherboard external cladding is the ideal low maintenance, rot free alternative to traditional timber weatherboarding. Designed with the visual appeal of natural timber, simplicity of installation and resistance to rot. Cedral Weatherboard is an attractive, low maintenance alternative to PVC-U. This highly weather resistant weather board is available in 9 colour variations.
