Tailor Made & Timeless

The ultra slim frames of VELFAC windows allow more daylight to enter a house at the same time as creating clean lines and a timeless look on the outside of the property. Made from sustainable wood on the inside and durable aluminium on the outside, VELFAC windows are tailor made for each project to give the architecture a unique look and distinctive feel. Whether choosing a fixed frame or opening, all the window frames will appear consistent from the outside; adding to the uncluttered feel to contribute to a contemporary design.

Made to achieve maximum energy efficiency, a VELFAC window can deliver a U-value as low as 0.8W/m2K. Double glazed is standard with the option of triple glazed as an alternative. Solar gain is maximised due to the slim frame letting in more natural light, this decreases the amount of artificial heating and lighting needed and helps reduce U-values further meaning a highly efficient home. VELFAC glazed units are filled with argon gas, further improving insulation and there are optional glass coatings to reflect heat back into the interior, or to control the solar gain of a property.

VELFAC were awarded Best Sustainable Window Manufacturer in the BUILD Magazine 2019 Sustainable Building Awards. The wood used in the composite windows is from sustainable sources and are FSC® certified, their wood treatments are water-based and the aluminium used is 95% produced using hydro-electricity, making it ideal for eco- conscious homeowners and architects.

Visions become reality as shaped designs can be specified to tie in with the building style. It is possible to fit together different shapes with slimline frames to create an architectural feature for the property.
